This is Eixample, my neighborhood in Barcelona, seen from my penthouse apartment, high above Passeig de Gràcia. It is a dream come true to live in the heart of this beautiful city, and it is absolutely awesome to share this amazing location when I'm on the road. My home is not a vacation rental—just an outstanding apartment—where plants need to be watered and bills need to be covered. I'm not running a business—I'm merely a retired artist with a stunning address. I offer an invitation to savor the magic skies of Barcelona, from a home, instead of a commercial enterprise.

The apartment has an ensuite bedroom and spacious bath—perfect for a couple—but there is a sofa bed in the library if friends want to share. Limit is two humans, and sorry, no pets. There is air-conditioning and ceiling fans; there is a doorman and two elevators; there is a dishwasher and a washing machine. It is a sun-drenched flat, with warm wood floors and a sweeping, 280° view from the mountains to the Mediterranean Sea!
